Sample images in hand

We got these samples in hand from the factory... they look pretty good. We need some adjustments on the heads and eyes, and they need to resolve the black joint pins at the shoulders, wrist and hips, but over all they look good. You can also see how the heads will be packaged together and then inserted into the bottom of the tube packaging.
We'll have the factory make these final adjustments and then production should start in late June/July and if all goes well we'll have the figures in August. On that note, Fresh Monkey Fiction, who have allowed us to use some of their existing assets to create the Space Force line, has offered to help with fulfillment and will be shipping all the orders when they arrive.

Just got a couple updates to our samples I wanted to share. More to come but they updated some of the colors on the body and added a metallic paint to the visors.

Hey everyone
Sorry for the long wait..we got our 1st batch of paint sample images from the factory this week.
They are attached below. They look pretty good for a 1st pass but lots of notes for them to adjust.. joint pins in the wrong color, missing details, adjusted deco, etc.. We’re making notes on them now and they’ll send us some revisions in a few weeks. Once we have them locked down we can move into production.

March Update

Hey everyone
Sorry for the lack of updates. As I mentioned in the last update most of Jan was finalizing the tooling. Then, Feb was Chinese New Year, so everything closes down in China for that month. The factory is now back and is sending me the tooling samples by the end of the month. That said the repercussions of Covid-19 are still at play with the factory being at 1/2 capacity.
Here are some images of the final tooling, along with some other parts the factory is producing to be compatible with some of parts from another project I am overseeing.
The factory is starting paint samples now which will take them about a month, then if that goes well we’ll go into production in May in hopes to deliver toward the end of summer.

Hey Everyone
Just got a few images of the tooling samples. We still need to adjust a few things to make sure they fit the bodies.
This process has taken way longer than we thought. Given the delays and backlog at the factory because of Covid I don't think we'll be able to start production until after Chinese New Year in February. I hope we can get samples done right after CNY so we can begin production in March/April.
It's looking like it's going to be summer at this point for delivery, just want to set expectations on this now, the challenges of Covid slowing everything down has caused a 4-6 month delay overall. We'll post images as soon as we get them in and keep everyone up to date with the progress.
