Packaging update

Hey everyone!

The factory is still finalizing the tooling. This is still going to take a while, things are slow in China given Covid, but I think we'll have tooling samples before the end of the year.  I hope to begin production before Chinese New Year in Feb, but we'll have to see how much we need to adjust the tooling. 

We've been working to finalize the packaging design. Here are are few work-in-progress renders to show you where we are headed.  Each figure will come in collector friendly tubes, the extra heads and accessories will be placed below the figure. There will be different style packaging for Space Force Blue, Space Force Red and the Russian Space Agency figures.

Hey everyone,

We have finally started the tooling. Here are some images of our the steel tool layouts, where you can see how all the parts get laid out for injection .

When the tooling is done we’ll post some images of the actual outputs of the molds.

Also, we completed the paint application for the heads on the prototypes here are some in progress images.

We’re finalizing our design for the packaging. We are going to be using a cylinder like style packaging.  More to come on that soon.

We've reworked the heads...still working out proportions to the body but we are close.  It takes  while to make sure everything is set up and scaled correctly before we make the tooling, cause if we screw this up, it's very hard to go back.  We have to upscale all the new parts we are making as when you create the steel tool it will shrink everything 4%, so we have to make sure it lines up with the pre-existing parts we are making use of for this line. We have a few more tweaks to go and we'll be starting the tooling in September, but here are some images.

Hey everyone!

We got to examine the 3d prints of the head sculpts and there were some issues we noticed that we wanted to resolve before we started the tooling process. See below..

Here are the updated sculpts. We adjusted the scale and fix a few details like rounding out the jaw line the adjusting a few minor details.  

We'll print out the tooling masters later this month so we can start the tooling process in Aug. 

That's it for this month.

We're still plugging away on the tooling masters..lots to clean up and scale here..but here are some images attached to the body..disregard the camo paint job.

Also..don't forget about the Presidents Kickstarter.

We only have 2 weeks left and are only 1/2 funded, these heads will work on the extra heads you'll get with your Space Force figures and we think they'll really compliment the line. Plus we also got some fun stretch goals planned, so please share the campaign if you can.  We've been trying to get it out there and have got some coverage on action figure sites BUT we need the larger news sites to pick it up so we can get more eyes on it.
